What Muslims believe about Jesus

Learn what The Qur’an tells us about Jesus and his mother Mary (peace be upon them).

This seminar is designed to explain the correct view a Muslim should have with regards to Prophet Eesa and his mother Maryam (alayhema salam).

Seminar Structure

SATURDAY 17th DECEMBER 2011:
Session 1]  Time: 10.30-11.30am For ages 6-10 years, boys & girls

Session 2]  Time: 11.30-12.30pm For ages 11 plus, girls only

12.45 Dhuhr salat (bring your own lunch)

Session 3]  Time: 1.30-2.30pm For ages 11 plus, boys only

Teacher

Claire Ali has been running popular educational workshops for children for 8 years. She is a qualified teacher, a former Head of Languages and current PGCE tutor.  She believes that child-centred learning is the best route to nurturing our children.  Her workshops are full of fun and creative learning activities that deepen and celebrate children’s knowledge of their deen and develop in the child the joy and honour of being a Muslim.

Kite Making Workshop for ages 6 to 16 years

Create your own kite, decorate them yourself and then go out and fly them.

myDeen Youth Saturday School

Alhamdulillah we are pleased to announce the launch of the myDeen Saturday school for boys and girls aged 9-15 years.

The school aims to use fun and novel teaching methods to improve the general education of its youth whilst giving them a thorough practical understanding of Islam for their personal benefit and the wider benefit of the cummunity in which they live.

Chesham Mosque Opens its doors to local schools

Saturday Arabic School in Chesham for Kids aged 5 to 8 years

For Children aged 5 – 8 years
Learn Arabic as a modern language.
Learn to pronuounce, read and write common phrases.
Help your quran recitation.

Use games, play and craftwork in a fun and interactive way.

Every Saturday 10:30-12:00
at Chesham Park Community College
 

Fees £35 per school term

Every sunday in the room opposite the ladies prayer hall – from 11.30 am to 1pm – girls and boys age 5 to 11 years are all welcome to attend the free sessions which are designed to build confidence and inspire the children with a love and understanding of Islam

Activities include:

• Quran stories for little hearts and short surahs with English translation
• Reading
• Writing
• Colouring
• Prophetic dua’s
• Stories of the Prophets
• Islamic plays songs quizzes poems
• Islamic art and crafts

Refreshments are served

Daily Salat

The Imaam leads the five daily prayers (see the timetable for the exact times).

DAILY READING

The Imaam presents a tafsir or commentary on a selected sura (chapter) of the Quaran, on a daily basis after Asr prayer.

Friday Prayer at Chesham Mosque

Our Friday sermon starts at 12:20pm with the salat at 1:00pm insha’allah.

Daily Childrens Qur'an and Tajweed reading class

Qur’an studies for boys and girls aged 5-10 years and 10-15 years are scheduled every week day 5-6.30pm.
