when my son was at infant school he used to beg each christmas time to have a tree in our house. Not what we do Bilal..we are muslims and we dont celebrate. My best friend Ynonne used to invite us to her house to look at her christmas tree and exchange presents. Towards the end of infant school..aged 7 bilal refused to take part in anything to do with christmas ...even the play. He refused to attend school the last week of school so he did not have to be part of it.
there is no denying we live in a country that celebrate christmas....our role is to appreciate this and educate our selves and others about the differences, what is acceptable and what is forbidden and what our god/allah ask of us.lets not make up things to please our children and communities...kids can see through this and we live for allah not for our communities. but dont go around shouting when we see some wrong..quietly speak and question and ask.

Alhamdulilla !!! at last we have someone taking and sharing and giving the correct interpretation about this most beloved prophet in Islam and his mother. A whole surah is dedicated to this incredible lady ..just shows her importance and what men can learn and as importantly what women need to know and how we should act towards others.

Allah subhanatala continue to guide us towards him..inshallah.
